EVENT HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment
To secure the date of the event, a deposit of $250 is required. This deposit is deducted from the final cost of your package.
The remaining balance is due two weeks before the event unless stated otherwise on your paperwork or agreed in advance by Photo Corner.
If the deposit is not paid within 7 days receiving this contract the date will be released.
All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Any cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy (see below).
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made via email or in writing and not verbal.
Cancellations made prior to 14 days of the event date – $250 deposit will be returned in FULL.
Cancellations within 14 days of the event date – $250 deposit will not be refunded.
COVID-19 Cancellations and postponements
Should you need to cancel or postpone your booking due to COVID-19 we can provide a full refund of transfer your booking to a new date (subject to availability) for no additional fee.
Events Beyond our Control
Photo Corner cannot be held responsible for any circumstances that may prevent us from attending your event or fulfilling our service, these may include but are not limited to severe weather conditions, severe sickness or hospitalization, power outage, fire, threatened or actual act or terrorism, or natural disaster. In the case that we cannot attend or fulfill your hire due to events beyond our control, we will contact you and/or the venue as soon as possible. In these instances, Photo Corner will provide a full refund of any monies paid or transfer your booking to a new date (subject to availability) for no additional fee.
Venue Location
It is your responsibility to ensure that all address details of the venue are correct. Photo Corner cannot be held responsible for any errors or delays resulting from incorrect or missing address details.
Hire Period
Photo Corner will arrive to set up 1 hour prior to the agreed commence time unless otherwise stated. The set-up will be complete within 1 hour. The hire period will commence from the agreed time as per the booking confirmation and finish at the agreed time. In the event that Photo Corner is not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, we will still give you the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire. In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time as setup has been delayed due to either the venue not allowing access on time or your events are over running the hire, will still end as per the agreed time on booking form. In the event that we have set up in time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to over running of previous activities by yourselves or venue the hire will still end as per the agreed time on booking form.
If you wish to have the photo booth set up prior our standard arrival (1 hour prior to the hire start time) and/or wish to have the photo booth removed at a later time than the hire period ending, there will be an hourly rate charged for our staff to be on standby for the additional time.
Termination of Hire
Photo Corner will not tolerate any abuse or threatening behaviour to our staff. If this does occur Photo Corner are within their right to terminate the hire.
Photo Corner are also within their right to terminate a hire if they feel that any equipment or property belonging to Photo Corner is in danger of getting damaged or has been damaged due to unruly behaviour from guests. We also reserve the right to refuse guests to participate in the activities if we feel they are too unruly or too intoxicated.
In any instances where we feel there is a need to terminate the hire we will always speak with the host first to try to resolve the matter before terminating. If we do have to terminate the hire due to reasons stated above, the full cost of hire is still payable and we will not issue any refunds for hire time that has been cut short.
Use of Images
When hiring from Photo Corner, the hirer gives permission for images taken at the event to be used for promotional and advertising purposes.
Photo Corner will not use images which are deemed unsuitable on their website or for advertising and will not use any content that may be personally damaging to any persons/s.
